SGL Power has unique technologies to produce power from a range of energy sources and fuels. Some common fuels are forestry by-products, agricultural waste, municipal waste, landfill gas, and syngas. There are also many next generation biomass feed stocks in different stages of commercialization. Traditional thermal plants are also used through the process of thermal harvesting. Thermal harvesting is the utilization of waste energy to produce power uses otherwise wasted energy to produce power reducing the need for alternative energy. These specialized energy conversion technologies do not contribute to global warming and helps avoid the release of other harmful emissions.
